Meeting With NSC Regional Manager

Today, we met Regional Manager Dr. Vijay Karahne at the Bihar regional office of National Seed Corporation, Sekhpura, patna and reached an agreement on producing seeds of wheat, pigeon pea, mustard, sunflower and vegetables in an organic manner. All the seeds produced will be bought back by the National Seed Corporation. Also, farmers will be provided training in seed production. In this seed production season, the target is to produce seeds on 6500 acres of land.

Crop cutting of potato crop of farmer Mantosh Ojha (farmer using organic products and technology of Farmarface) of village Dhangada, Baniapur, was done, where 72 days potato production was recorded at 6775 kg (247kg katta) in one acre. Soil PH- 8.45 OC -very low, Cu-very low, B -very low,N -very low This production was taken from infertile condition of soil with soil improvement in just 72 days Organic farmer, happy farmer, less agriculture cost and more production.
